Welcome to the Intro to OTC Meds. This should serve as a refresher for employees who have already participated in the face to face session with Mr. Carlton Lanquedoc. The course consists of three sections which outlines every that was taught. At the end of the Course there will be a graded quiz comprising of twenty-one questions that you will need to complete. The score attained in this course will be added to you Product Knowledge Score during our Bi-Annual Evaluations. 

Here are the objectives of this course: 


  1. To differentiate between a drug and an OTC
  2. To understand how OTC medicines work
  3. To know the common forms of OTC's
  4. To familiarize yourself with the guidelines for choosing and using OTC's
  5. To know how to read a drug label
  6. To learn how OTC's are classified
  7. To learn common pharmacy terms
